How does Aniko work?
Updated
Aniko is an SAT prep platform that works out where you are, plans your daily practice around your SAT date, and adjusts the plan as you go. You practice real SAT-style questions, review what you missed, and take practice tests that work like the digital SAT.
The study loop
- Take the diagnostic. Two short adaptive sessions, one for Reading and Writing and one for Math, show where you're starting. If you study only one section, it's one session.
- Follow your study plan. Aniko plans the next few days of work around your SAT date, your study days and how many questions you want to do each day. Your tasks are on Home and on Study Plan.
- Practice in study sessions. Each plan session targets one skill or a small group of related ones. Hints, strategy tips, step-by-step explanations and the AI tutor are there when you're stuck.
- Review your mistakes. Review Labs bring back questions you missed, so you can check that you've fixed them.
- Take practice tests. Full tests have 2 modules per section, and the second module adapts to how you did on the first, as on the SAT.
- Watch your score estimate. It updates each time you finish a session or test, next to any official SAT and Bluebook scores you add.
Your plan uses everything you do to choose what comes next, so the loop repeats with harder or more focused work as you improve.
