How does the Score Guarantee work?

Updated

Available on Premium and Unfair Advantage.

The Score Guarantee backs your study plan with a guaranteed score. If you meet its conditions and your official SAT score still comes in below that score, you can choose a refund of your subscription payments from the 3 months before the test, or 12 months of Aniko for free.

Who it covers

The guarantee comes with Premium and Unfair Advantage, and with eligible sponsored access through a school or tutor. Your subscription has to start at least 14 days before your SAT and stay active until you claim. The Free and Essential plans don't include it. See Aniko plans compared.

What you need to do

Your checklist is in Study Plan Settings. Before your test day:

  1. Finish the diagnostic. In the checklist, this means 1 full practice test, which can be one you start yourself, plus 8 study sessions or Review Labs from your plan. It isn't the 2 short sessions you took when you signed up. Finishing it shows your score prediction and your guaranteed score.
  2. Complete at least 90% of your study plan. See how completion is counted below.
  3. Confirm your legal name, as it appears on your College Board score report.

Changing your study plan settings, such as your test date or intensity, updates your guaranteed score.

How completion is counted

Completion counts the work in tasks your study plan schedules, measured against your whole plan up to test day, so it grows as you go. Tasks you or a tutor add don't count, and neither do lessons or Bluebook tests. It starts again at 0% when you save new settings, other than your target score, or reset your plan. See How is study plan completion counted?

Important

If you cancel and your plan ends before you claim, you lose your Score Guarantee. See Cancel your subscription or free trial.

Claim your guarantee

After your official scores come out, email your College Board score report to hello@aniko.ai within 45 days after your test date, or have a parent or guardian send it if you're under 18. See Claim your Score Guarantee for the steps, and the Score Guarantee terms for the full rules.
