What time scores come out

Scores don't all appear at once. College Board releases them in batches through the day, because so many students sign in. Some scores are out as early as 6 a.m., and nearly all are out by 8 p.m. on release day. If yours isn't there in the morning, check again later in the day.

Where to see your scores

Sign in to College Board's Student Score Reports with the account you registered with. Your newest score is at the top. See Score Details shows your results by content area, your percentiles and College Board's college readiness benchmarks.

SAT School Day scores

If you took the SAT at school on a weekday, your scores follow your school's schedule. For the fall 2026 testing window, October 1 to 30, students see scores on October 22, November 5 or November 12, 2026, depending on when the school submitted its tests. A state testing program can have its own dates, so ask your school counselor.

Why your score might be late

  • It's still release day. Batches run until the evening.
  • Your score is on hold. College Board holds a score when something irregular happened on test day, such as a technical issue, a report from test center staff or a security concern. Your account shows "Your score is coming" and updates when the hold lifts. Check the email address on your College Board account for messages about it.
  • You're signed in to another account. You, a parent or a counselor may have made a second College Board account. Sign out and try the other one.

If your score is still missing, contact College Board's customer service. Our team can't see or change official scores.

Send your scores to colleges

Scores aren't sent to colleges automatically. You choose where they go.

  • Free sends: each weekend registration includes 4 free score reports. You can pick or change them until 9 days after the test. After that, each report costs $15.
  • Delivery: colleges you picked when you registered get your scores a couple of weeks after test day. Later orders usually go out within 5 to 10 business days, or 1 to 4 with a $31 rush report.
  • Score Choice: if you've taken the SAT more than once, you choose which test dates to send, though some colleges want all your scores. See How many times can you take the SAT?

Add your score to Aniko

When your score is out, add it next to your score estimate: go to Analytics > SAT scores and click Add SAT or Bluebook result. See Add an official SAT or Bluebook score. If you have a Score Guarantee, email your College Board score report to hello@aniko.ai within 45 days of your test date. See How does the Score Guarantee work?
