What can I use for free?
Updated
Free Resources, Aniko's free SAT question bank and free courses, are open to everyone, with no account and no limits. A free Aniko account adds the full app, a study plan with practice tests and the AI tutor, with a weekly allowance.
What's in Free Resources
- Question Bank: SAT practice questions for Reading and Writing and Math, sorted by section, domain and skill. Filter by Easy, Medium or Hard, and use the hints, explanations and built-in Desmos calculator. Super-Hard SAT Questions collects the hardest ones into focused sets.
- Courses: Math courses with interactive lessons, worked examples and SAT-style practice, including Desmos for the Digital SAT. See Use the Desmos calculator.
Where to find it
- On aniko.ai: click Free Resources in the site header, or in its menu on a phone. It opens the question bank.
- In the app: open More in the header, then Free Resources. On a phone, tap More at the bottom of the screen.
- Switch between them: use Courses and Question Bank in the side menu. On a phone, tap Menu at the bottom left.
Signed in, you'll also find the same lessons under Courses in the app.
No account needed
You can use Free Resources without signing up.
- Signed out, your progress is tied to this browser. Another browser or device won't see it, and clearing your browser data removes it.
- Signed in, it's saved to your account, so you can pick up on any device.
If you practiced in the question bank signed out, then create an account or sign in on the same browser, your question bank answers and bookmarks move to your account. See Create an account and log in.
What it counts toward
Free Resources practice doesn't count toward your plan's limits, your score estimate, your Analytics or your plan completion. It's there for extra practice whenever you want it.
One thing does carry over. Signed in, questions you answer in the question bank don't appear again in your study sessions and practice tests, which only show questions you haven't answered. See Do questions ever repeat?
The Free plan
A free account gives you the whole app: a study plan, study sessions, Review Labs, practice tests, the AI tutor, your score estimate and Analytics. Each week you get 100 questions in study sessions, 1 practice test and 10 AI tutor messages, and the allowance resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Review Labs don't use your question allowance, so you can always review your mistakes. See Free plan limits and Aniko plans compared.
