Aniko plans compared
Updated
Aniko has a Free plan and 3 paid plans: Essential, Premium and Unfair Advantage. Every plan, including Free, gives you a study plan, study sessions, Review Labs, practice tests, the AI tutor, your score estimate and Analytics. The plans differ in how much you can practice, whether the Score Guarantee is included, and price.

Paid plans bill weekly or monthly, and you choose when you subscribe. On Essential, your allowance follows your billing: weekly billing gives you a weekly allowance, monthly billing a monthly one.
The Score Guarantee covers your official SAT score. If you meet its conditions, such as finishing at least 90% of your study plan, and your score still comes in below the score Aniko guaranteed, you can claim a refund or 12 months of Aniko for free. See How does the Score Guarantee work?
Practice outside your allowance
- Review Labs never use your question allowance, so you can always work through your mistakes.
- Free Resources, like the free question bank, never count toward any plan's limits.
The Lock-In Challenge can also raise your limits while you're active in it. On the Free plan you can join while free spots last; paid plans don't need a free spot. The Challenge page has this edition's numbers.
When your limits reset
- Free and Essential weekly: every Monday at 00:00 UTC, which is Sunday afternoon or evening in the US.
- Essential monthly: on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC, not on your billing date.
Everything you used earlier in the same week or month counts toward your allowance, including what you used before you subscribed. For what counts and what happens at a limit, see Free plan limits.
The 3-day free trial
A new subscription can start with a 3-day free trial, one trial per person. If a trial is open to you, the plan buttons on the pricing page say Start 3-day free trial.
- You add a card at checkout. Nothing is charged during the trial.
- You get everything in the plan during the 3 days.
- The trial turns into a paid subscription at the plan and billing you picked, unless you cancel before it ends. Your first payment is charged when it ends.
To stop before you pay, see Cancel your subscription or free trial.
See which plan you're on
Go to Settings and find the Subscription card:
- Plan: Free, Essential, Premium, Unfair Advantage, Sponsored (access through a code) or Trailblazer (lifetime access for our earliest supporters).
- Status: Trialing during a free trial, Active once you're paying.
- Next payment: the amount and date of your next charge. During a trial, that's your first payment.
- Expires on: appears after you cancel. Your plan ends on that date.
- Usage left this week (or this month): what's left of your allowance on Free and Essential.
Upgrade or switch
Upgrade from the Free plan with Upgrade plan in Settings, or change your plan or billing period with Switch plan. See Upgrade or switch your plan.
Sponsored access
Schools, tutors and communities can give students an access code. Sponsored access has no limits, and some codes include the Score Guarantee. See Redeem a code or invite a friend.
