Score Guarantee Terms

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Here is the short version

Start your Aniko subscription at least 14 days before your SAT, finish your diagnostic, and complete at least 90% of your study plan. If your official SAT score still comes in below the score Aniko guaranteed, you can claim a refund of all your subscription payments from the 3 months before the test, or 12 months of Aniko for free. You choose. The full terms below explain exactly how it works.

How it works

The guarantee is designed to be easy to understand: start early, unlock your score, follow the plan, confirm your name, and submit a claim only if your official score is lower than your guarantee.

1

Start early

Start an Aniko subscription

Your subscription should begin at least two weeks before the test and stay active until the claim is made. The earlier you start, the more time you have to raise your score, and the higher is your guarantee. Canceling your subscription before the claim voids the guarantee.

2

Lock your score

Complete the diagnostic

The diagnostic not only identifies your weak spots, it estimates your current level, predicts your score progression, and locks in your guaranteed score.

3

Study consistently

Follow your study plan

Complete at least 90% of your plan before test day. The guarantee is based on your selected study intensity. If you want to study more, or you fall behind, you can change the intensity at any time and the guarantee will update.

4

Keep it fair

Confirm the name on your score report

To prevent guarantee abuse, we have to confirm that the name on your score report matches your legal name. This is done with a quick identity check that takes less than 10 minutes and can be performed on device. If you are under 18, the check is completed by a parent or legal guardian.

5

Claim if needed

Submit a claim with a few clicks

Making a claim is simple. Just submit an image of your official College Board score report. It will be checked for authenticity, with a decision made instantly or within a few days if human review is needed. If your official score is below the guarantee, you can choose a refund of your Aniko subscription payments made during the last 3 months before the test date or 12 months of Aniko for free.

1. About this guarantee

The Aniko Score Guarantee is a voluntary promise offered by the creators of Aniko, registered as San Junipero Ltd, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. If you meet the eligibility requirement in these terms and your official College Board SAT score is below the guaranteed score shown in your Aniko account, you may submit a claim for the remedy described below.

This guarantee is offered in addition to your legal rights as a consumer. It does not limit, replace, or reduce any rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies.

2. Definitions

  • Guaranteed score means the SAT score Aniko displays as your guaranteed score after you complete the diagnostic or after your update your study plan settings.
  • Test date means the SAT test date saved in your Aniko study plan for the guarantee.
  • Official score report means the official SAT score report issued by College Board for the relevant test date, showing your name, test date, total score, and section scores.
  • Qualifying access means an active Aniko Premium subscription or higher (currently Premium or Unfair Advantage), or sponsored access that Aniko marks as eligible for the guarantee. The Essential plan and the free plan do not include the guarantee.
  • Claim window means the 30 days after College Board releases the official SAT score for the test date covered by your guarantee.

3. Eligibility requirements

You must meet all of the following requirements to make a valid claim:

  • Have qualifying access that starts at least 14 days before your SAT test date and remains active until you submit the claim.
  • Complete the diagnostic and score-prediction unlock requirements so Aniko can issue your guaranteed score.
  • Complete at least 90% of the study plan Aniko assigns before test day. This is based on the study-plan completion percentage shown in your account.
  • Confirm your score-report legal name before test day. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must help confirm the student's score-report legal name before test day.
  • Complete the required identity verification at claim time before your claim can be approved. Students who are 18 or older verify themselves. For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian completes identity verification and confirms the student's score-report legal name.
  • Be the only person using your Aniko account. The guarantee is personal and cannot be transferred or shared.
  • Submit a valid official College Board SAT score report during the claim window.

4. Your guaranteed score

Your guaranteed score is tied to your diagnostic, your selected SAT test date, and the study plan Aniko builds around your goals and weak spots. It is not a promise that every student will reach the same score. It is a personalized guarantee based on your starting point and plan.

If you change your test date, study intensity, or other plan settings, Aniko may recalculate, replace, or require manual review of your guaranteed score. The guarantee that applies to a claim is the eligible guaranteed score shown in your account for the relevant test date.

5. The remedy if your score is lower

If your claim is valid under these terms, you choose one of two remedies: a cash refund or 12 months of Aniko for free.

  • The cash refund covers only actual Aniko subscription payments made during the final 3 months before the SAT test date covered by the claim.
  • If your access was sponsored, comped, paid by a tutor, school, partner, or otherwise provided without a direct Aniko subscription payment from you, the cash refund amount is $0 and the available remedy is 12 months of Aniko for free.
  • If you bought an annual or other multi-month plan, the cash refund is limited to the portion of that payment covering the last 3 months before the SAT test date covered by the claim (a pro-rated 3 months of the plan), and only where the plan was active during that window. This keeps the cash refund consistent across monthly and annual plans, so an annual plan is not refunded in full. If no qualifying payment covers that window, the cash refund amount is $0 and the 12-month-free remedy remains available.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method where technically possible. Valid approved refund claims are paid promptly after approval.

6. What is not covered

The guarantee covers Aniko subscription payments only, and only within the refund limit described above. It does not cover any other student expenses, including SAT registration fees, travel, tutoring or prep materials outside Aniko, third-party costs, currency conversion fees, taxes unless required by law, or any other expenses.

7. How to submit a claim

To submit a claim, use the claim flow in your Aniko account during the claim window. You must provide a complete official College Board SAT score report for the test date covered by your guarantee. The report should show your name, the test date, total score, and section scores.

Aniko will review the report, your account activity, your name confirmation and identity verification status, your subscription status, and your study-plan completion. Most complete claims are reviewed automatically within seconds.

If the score report appears edited, incomplete, mismatched, or inauthentic, we will ask you to submit an authentic score report or contact support for help. If our review flags possible fraud or an issue that requires human review, review may take up to 7 days.

We will not add undisclosed claim requirements after the fact. If your claim is valid under these terms, Aniko will honor the remedy you choose.

8. Identity verification and minors

To prevent guarantee abuse and confirm that a submitted score report belongs to the student who used the Aniko account, identity verification is required before a claim can be approved.

Students who are 18 or older complete their own identity verification. Students under 18 do not complete direct identity verification; a parent or legal guardian verifies their own identity and confirms the student's score-report legal name.

Aniko stores only the minimum information needed to authenticate the score report and administer the guarantee, such as names, verification status, and timestamps. This data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

9. Subscription and cancellation

The guarantee requires qualifying access to remain active through claim submission. If you cancel your subscription, lose qualifying access, or fail to keep required payments current before submitting a claim, the guarantee may be void.

You can cancel your subscription online. Canceling your subscription does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your purchase, including the 14-day cancellation period where required by law. The guarantee is an additional benefit, and keeping it active requires keeping the subscription or qualifying access active until the claim is submitted.

10. Fairness, fraud, and account sharing

The guarantee is designed for genuine, personal SAT preparation. Aniko may manually review, deny, or void a claim when there is evidence of account sharing, identity mismatch, false information, manipulated study activity, edited or fraudulent score reports, payment abuse, or suspicious usage patterns that make the claim unreliable.

If a parent or guardian completes verification for a minor, they must certify that they are the student's parent or legal guardian, that the score report belongs to the student, and that the student was the sole person who used the Aniko account.

11. Edge cases

  • Changed test date: changing your test date may recalculate or replace your guarantee.
  • Missed or canceled SAT: the guarantee applies only to an official SAT score report for the covered test date.
  • Payment failure: a failed or unpaid subscription payment may pause or void eligibility until resolved.
  • Changed study intensity: increasing or reducing your plan may update the guaranteed score and required work.
  • Incorrect profile data: inaccurate test dates, names, or other profile details may require manual review or void the guarantee.
  • Duplicate claims: only one approved remedy is available for the same covered SAT test date.
  • Score-report name mismatch: the name on the official score report must match the confirmed score-report legal name unless Aniko approves the difference after review.

12. Your statutory rights

This guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit or replace, your legal rights as a consumer. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies.

13. Changes to the guarantee

Aniko may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice before it takes effect. The guarantee terms in effect when your guaranteed score is unlocked will apply to that guarantee unless a later change is required by law or is more favorable to you.

14. No affiliation with College Board

Aniko is an independent SAT tutoring platform and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by the College Board. SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board, which was not involved in the production of, and does not endorse, this product or service.

15. Governing law

These guarantee terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or state give you additional rights that cannot be waived. You may have local consumer rights in addition to the rights described here.

16. Contact and support

If you have questions about the Score Guarantee or need help with a claim, our team is always by your side at hello@aniko.ai or via chat on our Discord server.
