Do questions ever repeat?
Updated
No, not in study sessions or practice tests. They only show questions you haven't answered on Aniko before, and that includes questions you answered in the free question bank while signed in. See How do study sessions work?
Two places repeat questions on purpose:
- Review Labs replay questions you missed or bookmarked, so you can check that you've fixed the mistake. You can't pick their difficulty, because they use your own past questions. See What is a Review Lab?
- Collections, including Bookmarks, let you practice a saved set of questions again. See Use the Error Log, bookmarks and collections.
Repeats don't change your mastery or your score estimate. Only the first time you answer a question counts.
Questions that look the same
The SAT tests each skill with a few question patterns, so two questions can look alike and still be different questions. That's useful practice: once you can spot the pattern, you can solve every version of it.
