Redeem a code or invite a friend

An access code from your school, tutor or community gives you Sponsored access to Aniko, with nothing to pay. You redeem it below the plans, from Settings. Your invite link brings friends to Aniko, and while you're on a paid plan, it gives each new friend a $20 credit.

Redeem an access code

1. In Settings, go to Subscription and click Upgrade plan.
2. Below the plans, click Have an access code from your tutor, school or community?
3. Type your code and click Redeem.

Aniko takes you to Home and shows who sponsors your access. Subscription in Settings now shows your plan as Sponsored.

What Sponsored access gives you

• No limits on questions, practice tests or AI tutor messages. Subscription shows Premium access and who provides it.
• Nothing to pay or cancel. Your access lasts as long as your sponsor keeps your code active. If it ends, your account moves to the Free plan and keeps all your progress.
• The Score Guarantee, with eligible sponsored access. See How does the Score Guarantee work?

Each access code works for 1 student, so don't share yours.

Tutor codes

A code from a human tutor also connects you with that tutor. Before it's redeemed, Aniko asks you to confirm, and you click Confirm and connect. Your tutor can then see your profile and study plan and manage your study plan. Your tutor can't see your AI tutor chats. Your profile shows who tutors you. To end the connection, ask your tutor or email hello@aniko.ai.

If your code doesn't work

• "This code is unavailable. Please check it and try again." The code is mistyped, someone has already used it, or it's no longer active. Check it with whoever gave it to you.
• "This is a discount code. Pick a subscription and use it at the checkout." It's a discount on a paid plan, not an access code. Choose a plan and enter the code on the payment page.
• "You currently have paid or lifetime access. Please contact hello@aniko.ai before switching to a sponsored plan." Email us, as in the note above.

Invite a friend

1. On Home, click Invite friends above the list of top students.
2. Click Copy and send the link to your friend.
3. Your friend creates their Aniko account from your link.

When they join, you become friends on Aniko and we email you.

The $20 credit

While you're on a paid plan and have made your first payment, your link also gives each new friend a $20 credit on any Aniko plan. When your link includes it, the Invite friends window says so.

• It's for new students. Your friend gets it only by creating a new account from your link.
• It's applied for them. When your friend picks a plan, weekly or monthly, the credit comes off at checkout, with no code needed. If the plan costs less than $20, the rest goes toward their next payment.
• It's for your friend. You don't get a credit yourself.

The credit expires 48 hours after your friend signs up. Until then, your friend sees it with a countdown on the plans page and in Settings > Subscription.
