Can I get a refund?
Updated
Yes, if you forgot to cancel. Email hello@aniko.ai within 7 days of the charge. If you haven't used Aniko since that charge, we'll refund the payment and cancel your subscription. This includes the first charge after a free trial.
"Used" means answering questions, taking practice tests or sending messages to the AI tutor. Signing in to look around doesn't count.
Other payments
Apart from this, subscription payments aren't refundable, and cancelling doesn't refund the current period. When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. For billing periods and the free trial, see Aniko plans compared.
Two cases have their own rules:
- The Score Guarantee. If you qualify and your official score is below your guaranteed score, you can claim a refund of your subscription payments from the 3 months before the test. See How does the Score Guarantee work?
- Your legal rights, such as consumer cancellation rights where you live, always apply.
Ask for a refund
Email hello@aniko.ai from the email address on your Aniko account and say which charge you'd like refunded. Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with.
The Terms of Service have the full rules, in section 11.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, if you email us within 7 days of the charge and haven't used Aniko since. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
No, unless consumer law where you live gives you a right to one. Once you've answered questions, taken a practice test or messaged the AI tutor after a charge, that payment isn't refundable. You can cancel at any time so you aren't charged again. See Cancel your subscription or free trial.
