Missed a study day, or need a lighter one?

Updated

Nothing is lost when you miss a day. The tasks you didn't do stay on their day in your plan, and they still count toward your plan completion when you finish them.

Find your tasks

  • Study Plan lists your weeks in one scrolling page and opens at today. Scroll up for earlier days. Every task stays on the day it was planned, finished or not.
  • Study plan priorities on Home shows up to 5 tasks, unfinished ones first. Use Yesterday or Previous to see earlier days, or View study plan for everything.
  • Continue on Home is the task you most recently started and haven't finished.

The questions you've answered are always saved, even in a task you didn't finish.

Catch up

You can still do a past task for about 2 weeks after its day, and it counts toward your plan completion when you finish it. After that it's archived and turns grey ("Outdated"). Saving new settings archives older tasks you haven't started sooner. See How is my study plan built?

Move or remove tasks

On Study Plan, each day has icons to add, reschedule and delete tasks. On a computer, hover over the day to see them. You can delete or move tasks you haven't started, and moved tasks go to today or a later day.

You can also ask the AI tutor, for example "Move today's practice test to tomorrow".

Moving or deleting tasks doesn't change your settings. Your plan still expects the same work on each study day, so:

  • deleting a task from a past day lowers the most your plan completion can reach;
  • if you move or delete tasks from today or a later day, Aniko can plan new ones to fill that day.

To study less on some days, change your settings instead.

Lighten your plan

In Study Plan Settings, under Intensity, lower the questions for a day or untick a study day. Saving starts an updated plan, and your plan completion starts again at 0%. See Change your study plan settings.

Important

During the Lock-In Challenge, missing a day's minimum or changing your plan below the challenge minimum drops you from the challenge. See What happens if I miss a challenge day?

Days that aren't study days never break your study streak, and finishing a task on one still adds a day. Missing a study day starts your current streak again.

Frequently asked questions

They're saved. Find the task on the day it was planned in Study Plan. Study plan priorities on Home shows only 5 tasks, so a task you started can drop off that list. A session you start yourself from Home appears on today.

There's no single button for it. Move the tasks you haven't started with the reschedule icon, or ask the AI tutor to move them. If your SAT date changed, change your Test date in Study Plan Settings, and your plan is rebuilt around it.
