What counts toward my daily minimum?
Updated
Only tasks from your study plan count toward your daily minimum in the Lock-In Challenge, the opt-in competition where you do a minimum amount of your plan every day. See How does the Lock-In Challenge work?
Those tasks are marked Challenge after their type, like "Study Session · Challenge", on Home and on Study Plan. Each question counts toward the day you answer it. The current minimum is on the Challenge page.
What counts
- Plan tasks for today.
- Catch-up: plan tasks from the 2 days before today, back to your first challenge day.
- Working ahead: plan tasks up to 2 days ahead, as long as each of those days keeps its minimum. If working ahead would leave that day short, Aniko warns you that the task won't count toward today.
- A plan practice test, once you finish it.
- On a full-test day, a full practice test you start that day and finish is the whole requirement, wherever you started it.
What doesn't count
- Tasks you add yourself, and tasks the AI tutor or a human tutor adds. The add-task window reminds you of this during the challenge.
- Lessons in your study plan.
- Questions in Free Resources.
Extra questions in tasks marked Challenge still earn points for your league, but they don't carry over to tomorrow.
Important
Missing a day's requirement drops you from the challenge and uses 1 of your 3 lives. You can rejoin from the Challenge page while you have lives left. See What happens if I miss a challenge day?
Frequently asked questions
The work most likely came from tasks that don't count: a session you started yourself, a task the AI tutor added, or a plan practice test you haven't finished yet. Check that the tasks you do are marked Challenge.
You probably did some of today's tasks yesterday while working ahead. Work counts toward the day you do it, so today still needs the full minimum. If today's tasks don't add up to it, do the tasks from the last 2 days that are marked Challenge, or raise your daily questions in Study Plan Settings.
No. Your official SAT day has no minimum, as long as it's the test date your plan has been preparing for.
