Pause and resume a practice test
Updated
To take a break during a practice test, click Pause at the top of the test. The timer stops until you click Resume. For how practice tests work, see How do Aniko practice tests work?
The timer keeps running while the test is open, even if it's in a tab you aren't looking at or your laptop goes to sleep. When a module's time runs out, it submits itself with the answers you've given.
Pause a test
- Click Pause at the top of the test. The questions hide and the timer stops.
- When you're ready, click Resume. The timer picks up where it stopped.
Important
Switching tabs, locking your screen or closing your laptop lid doesn't pause the test. Click Pause first.
Come back to a test later
If you close the test, your answers and the time you've used are saved, and you can resume later. Open it from its day on Study Plan, or from Study plan priorities on Home. If it's the last thing you worked on, Home shows it marked Continue.
A test you don't touch for 14 days is archived and can't be resumed. You can start a new one whenever your plan's test allowance has one left.
